St James’s is a member of the Bishop Fraser Trust, a C of E Multi Academy Trust established in 2017. This is an exciting time to join us as it provides a great opportunity to work closely with the other four schools in the MAT: Bury C of E High School, Canon Slade School and Bolton St Catherine’s Academy, St Catherines Horwich; sharing good practice and building on our ongoing progress.

  • Is confident in liaising with a variety of staff at all levels.
  • Has excellent customer service skills.
  • Has a passion for well organised administration systems and processes.
  • Has excellent ICT skills and is proficient in all areas of Microsoft Office.
  • Demonstrates personal resilience and role model those personal qualities we wish to instill in our young people.
  • Has the ability and willingness to work flexibly to meet the demands of the role.


YOUR MAIN DUTIES WOULD BE:

  • Providing professional, courteous and customer focussed reception and back office administrative services to all stakeholders maintaining appropriate levels of confidentiality.
  • Ensuring all visitors are subject to the required safeguarding checks before allowing unrestricted access to the school.
